Whether you are gathering for evening aperitifs, a leisurely breakfast, catching up with old friends or settling in for a film from the comfort of the sofa, the rooms arrange themselves around you and your group rather than the other way around. The televisions, discreetly housed behind panelled cabinetry, are there when you want them and invisible when you don't.
It is, in the truest sense, a house rather than a hotel. And for the duration of your stay, it is entirely yours.
MONSIEUR HALAVANT’S PANTRY
Monsieur Halavant's Pantry is our panelled Georgian kitchen and dining room, named in quiet homage to the house's history. It is the beating heart of Henry's, where mornings begin around the refectory table with breakfast freshly prepared by our chef, and where the day can unfold at whatever pace suits you.
The kitchen has been equipped with everything a private house should have. A beautiful Aga sits at its centre, alongside Smeg appliances, wine fridges, a boiling and chilled water tap, and an espresso and filter coffee machine stocked with beans from Kiss the Hippo, our favourite London roastery. For those who wish to self-cater or supplement, the anti-kitchen offers further induction cooking, an ice machine, washer and dryer, and generous storage, all finished with the same considered attention to detail. The tableware and glassware throughout have been chosen to feel special rather than merely functional.
The Pantry works as beautifully for business as it does for pleasure. The television connects seamlessly for presentations and video calls, while discreet charging points built into the refectory table keep everything running without a cable in sight. It is the kind of space that welcomes a working breakfast with colleagues as naturally as it does a long candlelit dinner with friends.
By night, the Pantry transforms entirely. Dressed with flowers and candlelight, it becomes the setting for beautiful private dinners, celebrations and long, leisurely evenings with the people you love most. After a day exploring the city, there is something deeply restorative about coming home to a table laid just for you.

Jane’s Reading Room
Named in homage to Jane Austen herself, our largest reception room is a masterclass in the art of feeling completely at home. Generous yet intimate, it brings together comfortable formal seating in beautiful velvets and subtle prints, an antique corner desk, elegant side tables and a grand crystal chandelier, with every modern comfort discreetly woven in. The Smart TV, air conditioning, Sonos sound system and superfast WiFi are all present and entirely hidden, revealing themselves only when wanted.
The room sits just off the entrance hall, its large Georgian windows flooding the space with light and lending it the kind of quiet, airy charm that makes it equally suited to morning tea, an evening glass of English cuvée or an afternoon lost in a good book. The television connects seamlessly for presentations and video calls should the day call for it, making Jane's as well suited to a private briefing as it is to a relaxed evening in.
It is a room that asks very little of you except to settle in and stay a while.
HENRY’S DRAWING ROOM
Sophisticated yet intimate, Henry's Drawing Room offers a beautiful contrast to the softer tones of Jane's Sitting Room next door. A smarter, more spirited character brought to life through rich velvets, elegant stripes and considered seating that feels equally at home at any hour of the day.
It is a room that moves effortlessly through the day. Breakfast can be enjoyed here just as happily as in the Pantry, afternoon tea arrives with homemade macarons, and by evening it becomes the natural place to settle with a glass of red wine and good company. A Smart TV sits flush to the wall for those who want it, and the Sonos system carries music through seamlessly from the rest of the house.
For parties requiring additional space, Henry's Drawing Room can be arranged as a seventh bedroom, complete with a luxurious George Smith sofa bed and access to a private ensuite. It is a thoughtful addition that gives larger groups the flexibility of an extra room without sacrificing an inch of style.

The Carriage snug
This small yet quirky space on our first floor landing is based on a stylish railway carriage of times gone by.
Fun and full of rich and decadent fabrics, the Carriage Snug is the place to enjoy a glass of wine or our favourite London gin & tonic with a game of backgammon. By day its the ideal spot for breakfast for one or a quiet and unique work space.
THE Terrace
Our small terrace situated just off our second floor provides fresh air and a peaceful outdoor oasis.
With its antique tiles adorning smart railings, large footed planters filled with seasonal foliage and giant vintage clock, a simple yet stylish rooftop gem in London has been created.
An all year round heater, cosy blankets and candlelight ensure al fresco drinks throughout the seasons.
